May 2, 2006 Saturday Gate Hours As a reminder, Maher Terminals will continue to provide truck line gate hours every Saturday, effective April 22, 2006. All processing will begin at 7:00 am and continue until 4:00 pm. We would like to thank the truckers who utilized the gate hours this past Saturday and encourage those who did not to take advantage of this expanded schedule. We completed approximately 405 moves with an average turn time of 39 minutes for double moves. Saturday gate moves will be allowed for: Single Import Delivery moves (or) Empty Return-Import Delivery (double moves) only. Reefer Moves are Prohibited. It is essential that truckers verify their current credit, contract and insurance information in order to avoid delays or possible voiding out of the transaction. The use of the Maher Terminals Website and/or SPEECHWORKS telephone information center is recommended for pre-checking your import cargo availability. The Maher Terminals Empty Depot located at Columbia Container Services in Newark WILL NOT be open on Saturdays. - back to top -
